During my second year at the Santa Fe Opera as a stitching apprentice, I was fortunate enough to be on the men's wear/tailoring team. Being on this team provided an incredible opportunity to grow my stitching skills by completing five independent builds (one for each opera in the season), and numerous alterations. I learned just how much of tailoring is pockets and that 1/8 of an inch really does make a difference!
